I don't think it was ever realistic for us. I'm not sure about the prospects given up but the Bruins fans on the main board don't seem thrilled about it.

What did you all expect? Him to come HERE? THat would make too much sense. Rich get richer you know how the deadline is. We're standing pat and missing the playoffs. I aint watchin another minute until next season.

jagr a 2nd rounder and 2 prospects. and hes what 40?

i'm glad lou didnt deal for jagr because he wouldnt have helped this team. we need more then a 40 year old winger. this team has major issues. i hope they move some defense get some picks in the draft. if the price is too high let clarkson go

would also like to mention that the devils have given up their 3rd/5th/7th round picks this year already. so i dont think they will be giving up anything else for anyone else.

add into the fact we have to give up a 1st round pick this or next year. have to make some moves and ship some guys out of here please!

Devils can't afford to give up prospects and draft picks for a guy like Jagr.
I see some posters saying its time to rebuild and blow everything up, but then how could you also want to bring in a guy like Jagr unless you want to rebuild around a 41 year old.

100%

if its a player that is under contract and young. then yeah i can do that move for picks and prospects.

if the devils didnt spend 2 picks on poni i wouldnt be happy with using those picks for jagr but its an easier pill to swallow.

lou isnt making a move this deadline. i dont think the devils are a trade away from making noise in the playoffs
