I was onboard for signing him to a low ball contract. I'm still not against signing him but I would not give him a dime in guarantees...maybe 1 mil guaranteed in year 1.

I believe he is a full on member of the Crips based on his continual flashing of the gang sign, his homage in "JACCPOT," and the ties to multiple murders done by the Crips.

We are a bad team and need the talent. If we were a better team, I'd actually not want him. Considering we are bad, I'd take a chance on him and hope he severs all ties after this...I bet he won't though and I think he's an idiot.

I feel the same gk. Part of me would be very excited...part of me very nervous. I would just as soon pass on him, but for a contract like what you are saying.... What the hell.. Why not.

I still feel like we couldn't be that lucky. Too much interest in DJax. Wit the money available me and him being a Cali kid.... I think he'll end up a Raider. Just a hunch. It would be a terrible situation for Oakland, but they do stupid things.

I honestly think he wants to come to Washington and get revenge on Philly because he thinks they screwed him over, does that sound stupid maybe but that's my opinion.

Philly releases Jackson, and he signs with rival Washington? Brian Mitchell released by Washington, and signs with the enemy Philly to play against the Redskins twice a year. History certainly has a funny way of repeating itself sometimes.

Initially I think there is interest (or at the least rumors of some contact) from 9 teams. I have heard the Jets, Redskins, Raiders mentioned n particular. Maybe some of that was agent smokescreen???

For everyone discrediting his gang affiliation, you might want to look up the police report last year when his philly apt was robbed, he had something in the neighborhood of 200K in cash and jewelry stolen along with two guns. Months after the fact we find out it was a rival gang related burglary directed at him on purpose. Also another story that got squashed a few years back thanks to Andy Reid was a time he was pulled over in his sportscar after driving erradic, cops found weed and an unregistered gun in his possession, somehow Andy Reid was able to squash it and no charges were filed and it never made the media pages until recently, Andy is on record saying to Desean that if he ever pulls anything like this again he(Andy) will make sure he never plays another down in the NFL! And for the person saying Andy & the Chiefs are interested you couldn't be any more wrong, Andy and the Chiefs have said they have no interest in his services at all.

i think the skins 1st move after his release would be to have contacted the head of security for the NFL and find out what they know . then you contact local police depts and such and see what you can come with there . if it comes back clean then you schedule a meeting

That's not what they said. They said they do not believe he is part of the Crips...which I don't believe based on flashing of gang signs, the name of his label, and affiliation with known members.

Jets have came out and said no. The only other team I have really heard any interest from is Oakland.

You don't think they looked. Again, they are looking but you have no idea what they will offer...neither do I.

LAPD: DeSean Jackson not involved in gang-related killings - CBSSports.com

here is the latest and the greatest from the LAPD and the $250,000 burglary that was actually $20,000

Nobody here said he was related to the killings.

This stuff you posted here is nothing new. Look back to my post a few back and you see everything reported.

Not involved in gang-related killings means he did not take part or conspire...it doesn't mean he has no connections to the killers because it was proven he does and they go deep.

I believe Tandler is wrong. DJ won't get 9 to 10 mil/season. I also don't believe his bit about WR spending...I think it's a farce. We have Garcon and Roberts costing something...nobody else costs a (figurative) dime.

Personally, I'd rather see DJax out of the NFC East.

Guys ( And cali), Jackson is not the piece thats going to put us over the top. How ever, if the money is right and the team can manage him... it can not hurt to have him here. As i mentioned earlier even if we bring him in, we still likely look to grab some height at the position in the draft. If Jackson is signed i expect us to carry six wide outs. To me its all about the money and if we have the locker room to keep this guy in check. from a talent stand point, cant really fault the team for trying to bring him in.
