So is Jackson a FA then or is he on waivers? If he's on waivers, then we are behind only Houston to get him and I'd consider it. I'm not totally sure if all his contract becomes guaranteed though and if so, no way.

I'd definitely take a look at him and make a go of it. I'd offer him a contract similar to Garcon's contract...maybe just a touch more and I'd look at around a 4 year deal.

his character is a huge concern and i would simply cross him off . no need to go there

What was bad too is that, I read somewhere, the eagles didn't want to trade him to save another organization the trouble.

What seemed like a great move, now seems like an ultimate risk. He has made a statement denying gang affiliation BUT he could very well still have gang member friends.

Kinda brutal to put this business out there like that. murder charges, etc.

The problem w the skins getting Jackson would be that your sporting the wrong colors. I predict that the Raiders will be knocking on his door along w Snoop Dod, Ice Cube, and the rest of the South Central Crips. On a serious note, this is a kick in the gut for us eagle fans. This rumor has been ongoing for awhile. Now it's a reality and our offense has taken a huge loss. I give credit to chip and Howie for having the balls to do it. In the long run, it's probably best for the team and organization to pull the plug now rather than later. Hopefully he is out of the NFC.
