I've seen enough of Nodl...

all of you Nodl supporters but please sell me on what exactly this guy does that qualifies him as a top 9 forward on this team? 10 goals on the year, majority of them coming in the first 15 games of the season. now he has 2 goals in his last 32 games. i LIKE nodl, lets be clear here, but i don't think he should be getting time on the top 3 lines barring injuries. the way i would like lavy to go the rest of the year is:

hartnell briere leino
jvr giroux carter
zherdev richards versteeg

powe/nodl betts carcillo/shelley/nodl (any combo with bets in the middle works for me...with an emphasis on shelley in rare cases)

I don't love Nodl, and I wish Zherdev would work hard enough to stay in the lineup. He is light years ahead of Nodl on the talent chart. BUt, he can be a cancer, so I would rather Nodl play than Z when he is being a bitch. Hopefully he is done being a bitch now...

Agreed but before the flu hit they had Nodl on the 4th line where he belongs no offense Nodl! If anyone goes down he can fill in so I like him being dressed.

I don't mind the guy, but he is not a 3rd liner. He makes a good 4th though. Too bad he doesnt produce more

Sorry that was my point let him play 4th line as he's versatile he can move up if needed and kill penalties. Keep Z in the top 9 and away you go! If this doesn't work I'd sooner move Carcillo onto Richie's line with Steeg...now if that doesn't get the energy up then I'm not sure what will!

i actually loved early in the season.. unfortunately it seems like that was more lust than love.. i'm fine with him in the press box or on the 4th line.. nodl/betts/carcillo could be an interesting line

awaz, i agree, that would be a hell of a line, that would be the perfect grinding line to throw out there in the playoffs, altho i think the chemistry between richie and steeger is too good... id go with versteeg-richards-carcillo

i got my wish for the most part tonight though i could have went without both carcillo and shelley in the lineup. carcillo was basically stagnant on the line with richards and versteeg. i am hoping lavy just wanted to be physical tonight and thats why Z was out, i'd like to see him back with richie and verst next game. btw the chemistry that those 2 seem to be developing is very exciting.

I liked what I saw in Wellwood too when he was in camp but I don't think the teams willing to test players out at this stage unless they have to.

Nodl isn't horrible he just doesn't fit on the top 3 lines he'd be good with Betts and Powe or Carcillo on the 4th. Shelley and Carcillo shouldn't both be in the same lineup come playoffs I think we can all agree with this.
