So, are we still paying the players too much or are we not charging the fans enough in certain markets?

so..... by my calculations, if you take the $150 out for the jersey, the panthers are charging $18 for a season ticket.

edit: i forgot to include the free parking. its official, the panthers are paying fans to attend their games

Ill be able to get 31 hotdogs which I just might do and set up some homeless people outside to give them to lol

I am assuming you are not talking about Hot Dogs from inside the arena...

NHL training camps are essentially half over. Teams need to set their 23-man rosters by 3 p.m. ET on Friday.

Leafs will play Monday's home opener for free. Season ticket holders will not be billed. About 1,000 remaining tix will be given away.

I like this move ... the revenue from this game would have ended up going to a "have-not" team in the league anyways

about that Tampa cheap seat...

can we, in this day and age, really do NOTHING about the surcharge on tickets?
Can teams/venues really do nothing? do they really have zero leverage?

Where's Pearl Jam when you need them.

7.00 ticket, 10.00 surcharge

that's so fucked up

You can usually just go to the arena box office. They still usually hit you a buck or two (here in Charlotte at least), but nowhere near as bad as the TicketMaster scam.
