This. The Yankees always find a way to overperform. They probably have some leftover pixie dust. Stephen Drew and Brian McCann will probably pull career years out of their asses.

How is it that when people look at the Yankees rotation, they just talk about how they are going to be injured? The potential of this rotation is as good as many top teams in baseball. Someone will get injured, but thats every pitching staff in baseball. Then when the Red Sox lineup is discussed the injuries are not mentioned. Hanley Ramirez is great, but he will be hurt by the end of May. Pablo will be fine in the regular season, but nothing spectacular, Boegarts has never lived up to his potential. The catcher is a backup. Pedroia is awesome but has had a lot of injuries the past year. Victorino is injury prone and Betts should be solid as well as Castillo but they're unproven. The Sox have a lot of questions. As far as pitching goes, I'm sure they'll be good but they do not possess a guy that you fear every time he pitches. As it stands pitching goes to the Yankees...starting and relief. The hitting goes to the Red Sox.
