To be fair to Schaub, he was pretty decent up until his last season when he became King of the Pick 6.

I still think there was some undetected health issue with him at the end of 2012 when the Texans went from 11-1 to 12-4.

Something happened to his body somewhere and we will never know because his decline was sudden and no one saw it coming.

On a side note: I kind of feel hypocritical with all the Peyton Manning Forehead jokes I made considering the dome on Schaub's head.

I'd still swear on guys like Crennel and even Weiss as a DC or OC, but that seems to be their ceiling. Shame because I love Romeo as a coach. Just didn't have the goods of a HC.

as much QB reaching as we have seen in the NFL for years you would think these guys could pick a good one pretty easily.

Without a QB your sunk as a head coach with very few exceptions

Don't be defending O'Brien too much here.

He's in his third year and Osweiler is his fourth starting quarterback.

He was flip-flop wishy-washy between Fitzpatrick and Mallett and between Hoyer and Mallett.

Which is one of the reasons the Texans reached so far for Osweiler.

Just wanting a quarterback, any quarterback, to be the established starter.

Romeo has been a good position coach or Coordinator for a long time with and away from Hoody. Weiss managed to make Cassel as painless as is humanly possible, even made the playoffs his 1 year here. Neither can be a HC worth a damn to be sure however.
