Fully agree Akers should start first and I don't even want to see Cundiff on the field at all. There is a clear confidence advantage with Akers, I don't think he's got the nerves because he was awesome last year and did his job in the playoffs. I strongly believe he has been injured most of the season, many games he's been shown grimmacing in pain. And I definitely think that is a big reason if not the reason for his decline. Cundiff chokes in big games and please no more Kyle Williams f*ckups in the playoffs!!!! That offense and defense better up the bar even more to avoid these games coming down to the wire with a 30-40-50 game winning field goal attempt.

doesn't matter if Akers is missing due to physical, mental, emotional, or combination there of? what does matter is he is missing, right up to this past Sunday.

it also doesn't matter what he did last year, regular season plus play-offs. what does matter is he is WAY off this year.

IMO is to change kickers now, and it doesn't need to be Cundiff. but they're looking at it now and thats all i can ask for. if Akers win out next week, so be it. from that point on no more ranting from me on the kicker.

With the added pressure Akers has been feeling with all the misses lately, imagine how much more pressure he'll feel with Cundiff looking over his shoulder every time he kicks.
