As the starter no, as the primary backup... also no. But as the thrid string, both Cousins and McCoy are on the side line dead... I could see saving the roster spot and Pryor is out there to basically hand the ball off, throw a couple of ducks and get us out of the game while we hope Kirk or Colt can be revived.

The 3rd is supposed to be a guy you stashed to develop as a possible backup/starter for years down the road. Im not quite sure Nate is working out in that respect.

If you are down to your 3rd string QB you are pretty much screwed. If they do not see potential in Sudfeld for the future than I can see them cutting him. Pryor can play emergency QB and you can pick someone up off the street if it got that bad ..... like Sudfeld.

I am for it. The Skins will need the extra roster spot now that Taylor is out for the year.

After reading the Hough article, 9 players the Redskins should keep instead of Suds. Yeah, despite the urging by the All Seeing Eye that is coach. I'd be cool letting Suds go to make a roster spot for a more deserving player IE a player that will help us more than Suds will.

The beauty is, Nate could be one of our senior Practice squad players provided he cleared waivers. And if some one (McVey) Wanted to claim him and burn a roster spot, I would wish him well.

That is a nice little card the Skins can play if they so choose. Provided as you say, Suds clears waivers. But if Suds is as good as coach says he is and he blows up for any team not named the Redskins. At the very least we'll get to see some epic rants n meltdowns as only coach can provide.

Coach, you need to start preparing yourself for this real possibility. White Nate played pretty well last night, there was nothing there that said we was an NFL caliber QB that just needed some more development. There are 30 guys just like him that we could pick up tomorrow. In reality, this team needs an extra DB or ILB or RB, or TE, or DL more than we need a clip board holder on the 53 man roster.
