no team has 3 OL that low. bad mix of a bad oline a QB who is struggling.
i would just play Brown at least we can live with his growing pains. we also have tillery on the practice squad. some defensive players said they are surprised he isnt part of the 53 man team. try anything show us something.Forget Pryor. What is now three teams that have looked at this guy as a receiver? We aren't using the receivers we have. We need oline but I doubt there is anyone out there unsigned who is good enough to actually help make the line better. The team should start by replacing Martin with Eaton at center. If he plays well, move Kilgore to right guard. That just leaves Pears as the remaining issue.
First of all, it is never time for Blaine Gabbert. Second of all, if you think it is, then that means the season is finished.
Third...Colin Kaepernick simply is not the answer at quarterback. The arguments will never end however - 'It's the O-line!.' 'It's the coaching.' 'He has nobody open.'....all of these things will obviously factor at some point, but at the end of the day, Kaepernick has regressed to a point where most sane people should at least recognize the problems at hand.
The offensive line did give up some sacks yesterday, but there were a few that were of the 5 second variety....that's a ball that's got to come out of the quarterbacks hands. There were clearly missed opportunities yesterday - sometimes multiple outlets that would've resulted in scores - yet Kaepernick needs plays to fully unfold before him before he pulls the trigger.
Yesterday, there was another QB 'under siege' in that same game....and he made tons of plays. Granted, it's the best QB in the league in Rodgers, but a lot of that was simply dump off's that any QB can make - or I should say most should make.
I read a lot of crap about Greg Roman and his '1 read' pass offense, and how it stifled Kaepernick - well the plan made a lot of sense to me. If it's there, take it. If not, take off with it. Let him grow into the position in the NFL and give him more passing concepts as the games and years went on. When Harbaugh and Roman did that, he was clearly in way over his head, struggled with reads and such, and they finally had to de-emphasize much of the passing offense.
Now this year, it's all about playing to Kaepernick's strengths? That will not get it done when it comes to the position of quarterback in the NFL. Let him ride it out, just to see what his mental makeup is all about, and right now, it looks about as fragile as I've seen at the position in a while. There is no quarterback on the roster that is of starting quality, but with the way things seem to be, I'll probably be saying the same crap same time next year.
There's one sure place to start because play at that position can't get any worse acording to Geg Cosell.Good points made here. Some I would say lean to biased against Kap ( I include myself) and others point to many other faults such as our painfully bad 0-line. Many holes to fill and this is going to be a long season for sure as I see no quick remedy for anything.
Packers' Clay Matthews to Colin Kaepernick: 'You ain't Russell Wilson, bro'
Wow! Dungy and Harrison telling it like it is. Poor Kaepernick.
Man, those last two plays show you what a good QB like Russel Wilson does behind a bad offensive line compared to what a shitty Qb like Kaepernick does behind a bad O line. He is incredibly ellusive and keeps his eyes down field all the time.
It said it all. That aint saying much anyway
It said it all.
No. He's never spoken about any pro athlete the way he spoke about kaepernick today. At least not that I've ever heard and I've been around a long time.Do you know Cosell said some of the same things about Wilson that he does about Kaepernick?

LOL Wilson looked like crap. he did nothing in that game. D won that game again for him. Wilson gets covered up because of his D. Wilson had 1 good throw and 1 good run in that game. that is it. Det should of won that game. Seattle would be 1-3 just like the 49ers. Instead the D got a big win and they are 2-2, just 1 game better then the 49ers.Man, those last two plays show you what a good QB like Russel Wilson does behind a bad offensive line compared to what a shitty Qb like Kaepernick does behind a bad O line. Clay is a fool. Kap is 3-1 against GB. Congrat on Finally beating the 49ers with Kap. LOL I agree Wilson is better then Kap but both aren't great.Packers' Clay Matthews to Colin Kaepernick: 'You ain't Russell Wilson, bro'

Oh by the way Seattle gets lucky again. They should be 1-3 same as the 49ers.
Blown call in Seattle-Detroit game shifted win odds over 70 percent - NFL
But you notice he was sacked six times and often harrassed just like Kaepernick but unlike Kaepernick, was still something like 22 out of 26 for over 200n yards and made some huge plays when protection broke down. That's what I'm talking about when I saya weak offensive line can be mitigated by excellent QB play.RW and the Seahawk offense aren't exactly worldbeaters either these days.
AFter watching what the two players do behind pourous offensive lines can you possibly even compare them?I wasn't being specific about just today. Cosell had made some of the same criticisms he has leveled against Kap in the past with RW
