We need Kap to roll out. He needs to be more of a running QB. He cant stay in the pocket with that bad Oline. We need to run the ball. GB has the 27th ranked run D. Keep the ball out of Rodgers hands.

I think that is the part of the problem if you believe Mathieu's comments. Matheiu expanded on some of his earlier comments the other day. He said when Kap rolls out it is much easier for the defense to defend because the defense only has to defend half the field. While rolling out can be good strategy, it can't be done all the time because teams will prepare for it. The offense needs to make plays from the pocket. I think Green Bay's pass D is ranked pretty high. I think their Run D is not that good. The 49ers have to establish the run game to have any chance. And for that to work, they can't let Rodgers just march down the field for a TD every time he gets the ball. Will be a really tall order.

Kap or Gabbert, I'm down for whatever.

Interesting reading views on the QB and the Oline. What about the receivers? Do they have the time and the speed to run a route or find a way to get open?

Torrey Smith does. I think Ellington has the quickness also if he can ever stay healthy. Interesting thing about Mathieu's comments was that Arizona's D had an easier time defending the pass because of the roll outs. During preseason, the coaches rolled out out Gabbert to the right quite often to help him escape pressure. So what happens if Gabbert ever takes over? Can the coaches really rely on rolling Gabbert out that much?

I don't disagree with you but same could be said about Luck. Not as bad as Kap but overall still has trouble.
Disagree. Luck is way better and far more advanced as an NFL Qb than kaepernick is.

Not what I see. I go by what I see on the field and I dont see anything special. I said it before he is another Matt Stafford. Luck has trouble reading D's when pressure is thrown his way. Guy is a turnover machine and chokes in the playoffs.

Is he better then Kap yes but he isnt close to being Elite.

No you don't. No one could possibly look at the two QBs objectively and come to the conclusions you did; its not possible.

Not even half since Kaepernick does not throw in the middle of the field; at least not in the Red Zone.

I know Truth sucks sometimes. I know its hard to believe but its the truth . Again Im not saying Kap is better. Im just saying Luck is another Qb that can't take that next step or get better. He has the same issues as when he came into the league. he has trouble with reading D's. I think Luck still has a shot to be really good and help his team but he needs to learn from his mistakes and maybe study a little more.

I'm not so sure. Kaepernick has had his biggest games against GB because they are dumb enough to play Man coverage against him. This does two things. It frees Kaepernick from having to read defenses which he struggles mightily with and it turns the backs of the DBs who are in coverage and they don't see him as he's taking off to run until its too late.

You're right. He has. But this is 2015, and Harbaugh is no longer his coach.

GB 50-6 (I expect at least one safety somewhere in there; maybe 3).

Don't take this personally, but you might be smoking a bit too much crack.

Thats fair. He hasn't earned anything yet in his career to be consider Elite or a top QB. Every memory I have of him is throwing Ints in the playoffs.

Please explain: What has he done. Colts are 1-2 and Luck hasn't been to a Super bowl and his Playoff stats are BAD. Back up your statement. U think he is great because the media sells it that what. The NFL wants him to be great but as of right now he has been Avg to little above avg and Terrible in the playoffs. Im not calling in a Bust. i think he can be good but as of right now he still struggles reading D's. Hence all those Ints.
