Flacco is awful.
As usual, in your rush to defend Kaepernick, you missed the point.

It isn't about Kaepernick. You obsess over him. That is all you talk about lately. You are making a comparison and cherry picking one of Flacco's plays and ignoring all the bad ones.

I don't want to go through this whole mess of a thread in detail, but just a few points (again):

1.) Kaepernick is finished, IMO. I don't care that he ripped up the Ravens/Giants when they are two of the absolute worst pass defenses in the NFL. He needs to see guys open instead of throwing them open. The sacks are as much on him as they are on the O-line. It isn't just 'the O-line sucks' or 'Kaep sucks.' As I have said, in that regard, he's very similar to Webster up in Seattle. 'Running' quarterbacks have frequently racked up huge sacks against themselves. Good/great QB's can easily 'make' their offensive line look much better than reality. It's time for a new QB.

2.) Stop (if you are guilty) with the Kaep/Luck comparisons...it is embarrassing. Luck, until this year, has been getting better and better, and last year, he led the NFL with 40 TD's. He is the glue that held that team together, whereas Kaepernick has been declining and can't come close to holding the fort like Luck has routinely shown he can do. 2012 is over. Luck is currently struggling, (and dealing with injuries this year) whereas Kaepernick's time has come and gone. There amount of GM's that DON'T take Luck as their current QB over whatever they have now is around the amount of digits you have on one hand, and not one of them would take Kaep over him....and if they did...HAHAHAHA.........

3.) Stop (if you are guilty) with the 'we gotta draft O-lineman and defense and get a coaching staff....then get a QB' or 'I don't wanna see another Alex Smith situation/rest the QB until a team is in place.' There is no absolute evidence that a QB gets 'ruined' by the lack of talent/coaching around them. If there is a stud QB in the very near future (2016? 2017?) you take him the first instance you can, and you take him over every other position on the board. If you have to, you make the move for him - even a Wash/Rams deal to get Griffin if you strongly believe he's the next one. Period. End of story.

5.) When QB coach Jim Bob Cooter, despite the hillbilly imagery, left Denver, supposedly it greatly upset Peyton Manning. He feels he's a really competent, although as I understand it, there are Tennessee connection there.

4.) As I've stated, it's time for a new QB, but it's not Gabbert. You can call him Stop Gapbert, and that is being genuous.

Yes, yes, yes. Even if we trade away picks moving up, it is better than trying to upgrade 5 linemen first.

whats with 5) coming before 4)??? nevermind.........

Oh? What did that sloptard have to say?
That Kaepernick was no longer capable of even the simplest plays. He's looking in the wrong direction from where he is supposed to be during his progressions; that the OC is extremely limited in the plays he can call that Kaepernick can run effectively; that Kaepernick is looking at the pass rush instead of down field, that Kaepernick has no capability to throw someone open because he cannot anticipate, only react. That Christ is calling excellent plays but Kaepernick cannot run them. It was ghastly

Kaepernick might not be the answer long-term but i'll be surprised if Gabbert is the answer to anything. Maybe he has improved but I wouldn't bet on it. Kaepernick poses some problems from an opposition point of view.

Are you serious? How long have you been watching football? Bill Walsh would disagree with you. Steve Young was awful in Tampa Bay. Bill Walsh has commented on numerous occasions about Young's issues do to poor coaching and being on a bad team in Tampa Bay. Steve Young became a hall of flame player because of the 49er coaching staff and the talent around him. To suggest that a QB is not affected by the talent around him or the coaches is just downright silly

exactly. thats why u fix oline, hire new staff and let them pick a QB. no reason to have another QB play behind this line. if so we will have alex smith era all over again. learn from your mistakes.

Thank you. its common sense and these guys dont have it. most NFL GMs would agree with us. The only way u would draft a QB before the other 2 if a Super star QB was coming out. thisis not case in this up coming draft. no reason to draft a top 10 QB. it would be a wasted pick.

It is just silly on the face of it. Just throw a young QB out there any have him scrambling for his life. And coaching doesn't matter? That defies common sense.

I would be surprised if he is either. He was so bad last year, most people didn't want even want him as a backup. He looked okay in preseason although he wasn't asked to do much. This team needs to draft a QB and prepare him for the future.
