If I'm a Bronco fan I might lose sleep over any QB Elway takes. If Dan Jones can go #6 with worse stats in a far worse conference, I'm not losing sleep as a Broncos fan taking him in the 2nd round.

That's a very fair point. If I'm a Bronco fan I might lose sleep over any QB Elway takes.

Steelers have always loved & died by Roethlisberger... So long as he’s around, they’ll contend.
Other than Manning falling into his lap he has been a disaster with QBs.......and that's being kind. These are the QB's Elway has drafted. Brock Osweiler, Trevor Siemian, Paxton Lynch. He picked up Case Keenum last year. He wasn't that good. And after the Broncos picked up Joe Flacco # 7 said he thinks Flacco's just entering his prime. Drew Lock? Well judging by recent QB selections he'll do next to nothing as well.
I think Elway's ego is so large he's worried to bring in a good QB because of his own Mile High legacy.
Lynch and Osweiller were massive projects who were honestly only drafted because of their size. Either of them at 6'2" goes undrafted IMO. Siemian was honestly not a bad pick getting him so late. He's gotta be only one of a small handful of QBs drafted that late to ever become a starter, and he wasn't all that horrible.Other than Manning falling into his lap he has been a disaster with QBs.......and that's being kind.
No doubt he was enamoured by the size. Someone should tell him big QBs fail as much or more than short ones.Lynch and Osweiller were massive projects who were honestly only drafted because of their size. I think Lock is by far the best pro prospect they've drafted at QB thusfar in the Elway era. He can't be any worse than their last decade of QBs outside of Manning.
Not even sure what he was thinking. The list of successful QBs 6'5" and taller is short, let alone the list of 6'7" QBs.No doubt he was enamoured by the size. Someone should tell him big QBs fail as much or more than short ones.
Ben just needs to get back to playing his brand of football and not trying to appease everyone. He has been forcing far too many throws the last couple years.Experienced QBs make everyone around them better and cover up a lot of flaws. He’s gotta cut down on the INTs but otherwise his numbers were amongst the best of any QB last year.

I’d say over 60% of his INTs last year were forced throws to Antonia in double/triple coverage. Not pulling real data, but doesn’t feel at all like an exaggeration.I actually think he’s gotten better at not forcing throws. In his younger days he would extend plays but make poor decisions. Now, I just think he’s going up against better defenders. Just gotta recognize it and throw it away.

Agreed. Good chemistry. And I think Ben got too reliant on it at times. AB had a way of creating something out of nothing and bailed out Ben a lot.Haha. You may be right but that dude and he had a lot of chemistry. He was trusting in his instincts too much but still... not a bad bet. Haha
Easy there Paper Champ... Cleveland has a lot to prove before you can start writing those checks.I think the better question regarding Cleveland is - are any of the other three teams in the AFC North actual candidates to win the division? I think not.
