I was working in a cafe in calgary back in the mid 90s when Zarley played for the Flames. Zarley and Rick Tabbaracci came into my cafe and was having lunch. Im usually pretty good about "famous" people but any chance I can I try to talk to the goalies and I liked Tabby as a player from his Jets days. I couldnt contain myself and went up to him and said that I really liked him as a player and that I was such a fan even when he played against the Canucks the year they had them up 3 games to 1 and then lost in 7......

I trailed off here.... realizing what I spurted out. before I could apologize Zarley looked at him and said you had the Canucks up 3-1 and lost? Tabby looked back and said what are you talking about you had them up 3-1 and lost and they went to the final...

I walked away as they jabbed each other pretty good.

They probably would have taken you more seriously had you been wearing that Batman costume...

With all the criticism he's been taking in this thread, do I have to be the one to point out to him that his thread title and this initial post ask 2 different things? "This decade" is no longer the 00s.
