How is it possible that a team can go from almost winning 16 games during the regular season one year, to maybe going 0-16 the very next season?
imo emmitt and the oline was dallas' most important parts. i think peyton and brees are head and shoulders above everyone right now. all time, i duno call me a homer but i'd take montana and young anyday over peyton.
I would too, but that wasn't my question.
It didn't take Garcia very long to turn the 9ers around though. I think you have to say Manning. Aikman deserves a mention.
the guy is way over rated if he's so damned good why does he have only 1 count them 1 super bowl ring,,,,,,,I'll tell you why he can't win the big games,he's a choker

I'm going to add this to the question. The Colts went from the (4th \ 4th) ranked offense. (pts \ yards) to the (28th\31st) so far without Peyton. Chances are they'll be (32nd\32nd) within a month.
In respect to my suggestion of Young, the 49ers went from (3rd\1st) to (22nd\10th) on the entire year, I'm not going to be crazy and try to figure out what they were in those 13 games... that'd be silly of me.
The Cowboys on the other hand went from (23rd\25th) to (30th\29th) from Aikman's last year with 11 starts to the year he retired. I'd say it is safe to say the Cowboys were dropping off well before Aikman had to retire.
With that in mind, maybe Peyton Manning is the most valuable player to an offense in the history of the NFL.
