C'mon now, when was the last time Kentucky, Vanderbilt, or Tennessee had a legit program? Even Georgia or SCAR hasn't won much of anything the past decade (Conference titles, BCS bowl games, National titles, etc.). Florida stands alone as the only good team from the East the past 10 years IMO, and they've been bad for the past 2 years. Even a middle of the pack B12 team like Missouri has already won an SEC East title in it's first few years in the SEC East.

The West has had Auburn, LSU, and Alabama all play or win national titles over the past 5-6 years. To have Miss St. and Ole Miss step up this year, just makes it worse. Perhaps they will fall to the earth next year, but to the SEC East is bad right now, especially compared to the West, and I'm not sure why that is debatable. Fortunately for the East, Auburn and LSU look really bad now (although they both have looked pretty good for much of the season up until now).

Gonna need help to pass any of the current top 4. However, should one of those 4 slip up, I think Ohio State has a pretty decent shot at passing up both the B12 schools to get in.

I think the B1G championship game is a HUGE help for Ohio State (if they can win). Not having a B12 title game will hurt them IMO. Regardless, I think losing by a significant margin, at home, to a 5-5 team is going to keep them from being in the discussion, unless a few teams lose the next 2 weeks.

I think Minny has played "out of their heads" this year. Having said that, I don't think they can beat Wisconsin. They may have a shot against Nebraska, but even then I think their chances are slim to none.

IMO, the B1G is WEAK, and probably deserves to be ignored for the playoffs this year. If OSU wins out, and beats a ranked Wisconsin team, they may have an argument...especially if MissSt loses another game.

Ohio State will need some help from other teams losing if they want to make it in. If Mississippi or Bama lose another and the SEC East wins the SECCG Ohio State fans are probably going to be really happy. Also, don't forget there are two Big 12 1 loss teams in the mix who have better resumes than OSU both in terms of quality wins and who they lost to. Ohio State is kind of roaming around in purgatory with Georgia. They have a chance but a lot of things need to fall into place for it to happen.
