Kamara is the pass catcher and the future. Ingram is the one who is toast.

Besides, there were something like 250 carries that went to backs other than Ingram and their 3rd down specialist Cadet last year. AP will get his.

Yeah the Saints always spread the wealth at RB. They pretty much always used a 3 RB system.

One thing I have noticed through the years on Yahoo is that the closer you draft to their draft board the higher your grade will be.

Kamara will be the now sooner than later imo.

I have him in D2 and am very high on him. He will have to wait though.

Also, this is why picking 12 sucks ass. People look at the first two rounds and think, OK, not so bad. It is rounds 3 and 4 that kill you.

I got Mixon there, but it was a risky pick. Would have loved a couple other more solidified RBs who went off the board in the 4 picks before me. Now, I get stuck with Mixon as RB2 when he really should be RB3 and I have to take guys like AP and Rawls and hope they hit.

It is tough being at the end. Can't really gauge what targets will still be there 23 picks later.

Can't fault that logic. Personally I'll hedge my needs on the Ingram side, then again, betting against AP rarely goes well

Lots of weapons there.

But he excelled on short routes with a lot of YAC. If he doesn't struggle with drops(he drops a lot of easily catchable balls.) he should be a viable Flex type option.

So, I had my first draft of the year (not counting suicide) last night. Naturally, I wound up picking in the 12 spot because that is where I always seem to get stuck when draft order is randomized. I hate 12, in case you can't tell.

Anyway, it certainly wasn't my best draft ever, but I thought it was solid with upside to be pretty good. Y! Has me projected to finish 0-13 and gave me a D draft grade.

So, who is wrong? Me or Yahoo?

Picks by round:

1: DeMarco Murray- I was hoping somebody else would fall. They didn't.
2: Michael Thomas- expecting a Mike Evans type season from him in NO
3: Joe Mixon- went with upside here after my queue was depleted
4: Allen Robinson- with Bortles likely on the way out, I think ARob's arrow is pointing up.
5: Adrian Peterson- why not?
6: Andrew Luck- great value here. Started a huge QB run. 6 point passing TDs also.
7: Thomas Rawls-
8: DeVante Parker
9: Kyle Rudolph: 10th TE drafted. Was planning to wait, but value was awesome here.
10: Corey Davis
11: Rex Burkhead- Gillislee banged up and Burkhead looking good
12: Ted Ginn- probably won't be on my roster too long
13: Chris CARSON- will he move ahead of Lacy?
14: Giants D
15: Tyrod Taylor- in case Luck misses time
16: McManus

I know this draft isn't anything special, but I think at least 3-4 of my RB darts will hit and I like my squad everywhere else. I may regret picking Rawls ahead of Henry, but I thought Rawls was a great value at the 7-8 turn.
You are right in the sense that this draft is nothing special. I also agree that you should have taken Henry ahead of Rawls. I don't knock the AP selection. I think he could be a serviceable back. I don't like the Mixon pick. I understand that he may take over and dominate, but it is a big risk at the end of the 3rd. I wouldn't even have drafted Carson. Be careful with Luck, though. I'm hearing it could linger into the season. But Taylor is a great back up, especially where you got him.

I don't know. I wouldn't say this is an 0-13 by any means, but I wouldn't put them in the playoffs. You have some work to do.

LOL.

I do this league with a friend of mine. That was the one pick that he really wanted.

I think Davis has some nice upside. But, the Titans are run first. He won't have a super long rope for me. No RBs I really wanted at that spot.

That is just it though.

My options at that spot were Mixon, McCaffery, Hyde and Ware or a major reach.

I absolutely hate those last 2 guys. Like I said, picking 12th sucks.

I would have just kept firing those RB darts instead of Davis and Ginn. But otherwise, yahoo saying 0 - 13 is way off. Which is not shocking.

Ginn is gone tomorrow probably.

I will focus on RB in FAAB and hope Luck gets better soon. But, I do feel pretty good about Tyrod as a back up.

From rotoworld

Bills coach Sean McDermott was noncommittal on Tyrod Taylor's starting job following Thursday night's preseason game.
"Well, we're always going to evaluate everything," said McDermott, who praised fifth-round rookie Nathan Peterman for being "decisive" in Thursday night's exhibition game against the Eagles. Meanwhile, Taylor threw two interceptions in six possessions. Having traded away Sammy Watkins, the Bills' offense is no longer built to suit Tyrod's strengths. We suspect Taylor will still start in Week 1, but he may enter the season on a short leash.

First one on the hoop that i saw questioning Tyrods position this yr was Brees..... go figure

He is ranked top 100 in a lot of places. Usually around 90. I got him at 109. I think the price was fair, but my expectations aren't all that high for him.
