"Cam's a legit MVP candidate for an undefeated team. This is a fact. Go google something."

his comp% has dropped each of the last 3 years, as has his rating.

regardless of his stats, it only matters how important he is to his team

take him away and they are a 2-5 team at best

Cam Newton, Greg Olsen, and Ryan Kalil are the only NFL caliber players on the offense. Maybe Jonathan Stewart, pending his next injury.
Go google that depth chart

He's not an MVP candidate because the MVP [foolishly] goes to the sexiest quarterback statistics, but he's carrying that shitmouth team.

That's what I'd say too. Too many people argue stats for MVP, but if that were the case they wouldn't need writers to vote on who should win, they could just find the guy with gaudiest stats and crown them MVP.

Uh, no. The collective play of that defense, the fact they've played:

Jacksonville, Houston, everyone in the NFC South spare Atlanta (who face it is no match for Carolina's defense), a VAUNTED Chip Kelly team, and Andrew "The Turnover" Luck.

Seattle at CLINK was impressive... but you can thank Seattle's blown 4th quarter lead and quite possibly the worst OL in Seattle history (and prob. of every current active NFL roster) against a good D for that one.

If they beat Green Bay I'll take Carolina seriously, but this team reminds me of that Falcons team a few years back that was on the undefeated road then get throttled in the playoffs basically blowing it and requiring a miracle comeback against Seattle then getting smoked by SF.

he is definitely not in the MVSP (most valuable statistical performance) which we all know is much more important than wins and losses. Having said that, his overall performance is stellar if you are looking for a winner and a leader.
Do I think he is the MVP so far this year - No, I would give that nod to Brady. But to be so shallow as to use only statistics to make this determination is asinine.

I'm not saying I think he's the league MVP by any stretch. Only that that seems to be the way "experts" pick the MVP. Plus "experts" tend to pick a favorite early in the year and it takes an act of God to make them change their minds. That is why Rodgers got it last year IMO. Watt should have won with the season he had.

The stats don't lie. They never have.

He's a great runner with the ball. He's not a great QB. Nor will he ever be one.

He made some real nice throws last night and some ugly ones. He can be very good if he grews the fuck up, stops that stupid superman dance or stupid shit after a first down. And get rid of the towel over head, this aint boxing

That's never going to happen. No explanation required.

His "best" season was his rookie season. This is shaping out to be his worst season stat wise. Go figure that.

You associate with messicans, that's your first problem. Remember we live in New England and especially if you live within 60 miles of Bahston, we are all racists
