Too funny.

First Gold said my opinion of Baker not being the first QB drafted wasn't sound cause I didn't talk with coaches and do the required film study and now the above with regards to an opinion of the Browns.

You guys
Is true I'd say this of you and most who think they have a clue about QBs from watching a few college games and maybe some film/tape that ESPN or NFL Network wants you to see or you saw on your own on Youtube.

"my opinion of Baker not being the first QB drafted"

Where was he drafted, the first overall pick right?

So let's see here. You think all Browns fans will fully support that scumbag Watson. And your "opinion" is BM wasn't the first QB drafted.

You're on one helluva roll.
as someone who makes my comments based on the post and not the poster, to be fair, when he made that comment it was based on what he thought before Baker went #1 if I'm remembering the conversation correctly.

Pull up the lace panties and stop being defensive. You've proven to be one of the main reasons lately why a person has gotta love this place
would add to me the best ya gotta love this forum post recently was from the person who, instead of simply saying he was wrong for some crazy reason decided to show every Browns draft pick since 2014?.....as though someone thinks the Browns have drafted well overall since then.

They wouldn't be carrying 4 qbs. They'd make him inactive every week until the season was over. And all this is in the highly unlikely event he doesn't get traded.

And who said something about travel? You did. When you said he'd be sitting on the bench watching Jacoby play. That's not going to happen either.
Maybe I'm wrong, but to list him inactive every week, doesn't he need to be part of the 53 man roster, making him the 4th QB

I will always cheer the team on. But that doesn't mean I have to like every player.

And ownership. Don't me me started. Haslam's an idiot. I wish he'd sell the team.
He can sell it to Dan Snyder.

I'm sure Commanders fans will support this.

I do think if inactive he needs to be on the 53.

Thinking only way Baker is with the team is if Watson is suspended. If suspended, Watson will not be on the 53, correct? If suspended, Baker is at worse the 3rd QB.

If I'm wrong and Watson is still on 53 even if under suspension that's another matter. Guessing they might keep Baker around over Dobbs and/or the young guy they brought in.

If suspended Watson will only have to count against the 53, on day 1, he then gets moved to the suspended list and the team can fill his spot with another player.

For Mayfield he will have to count against the 53 throughout, unless he's "Injured".

So keeping Baker and Watson the Browns will have to cut two guys they want to keep, and hope another team doesn't steal them.

Thanks for explaining that. Didn't realize that what he meant.

This.

It would be interesting what Baker and Cleveland do if Watson is suspended. I don't think Baker will be dealt before August.

Be interesting if Watson gets a suspension but it served in 2023. Seeing how he had his contract structured to minimize financial damage if he is suspended in 2022, I could see Goodell doing that (2023 suspension)

It has to be in 22, but with Goodells randomness who knows.

Maybe they suspended him 8 games, every even week starting week 4

actually not why the contract is structured that way as Myles and Ward's were done the same...as do many teams when they do extensions.

IMO, they have enough info by NFL standards to pass judgment.
More suits are being filed and not one settled yet. This could drag out for a while, but think the NFL said they would come to a decision by June-July.
