I find him very annoying, very opinionated, and not very informative or knowledgeable
I stopped watching that kind of nonsense when ATH was new. PTI was refreshing and different, then that spun a new genre of talking heads who think their word is gospel.Of all the things to complain about on ESPN, Bill Simmons is near the bottom of the list.
Watching Sportsnation, First Take or Numbers Never Lie is right up there next to waterboarding. Seriously, Numbers Never Lie might be the worst thing on TV
But if you need a random comparison of an athlete to a fictional TV character, he's your guy.I find him very annoying, very opinionated, and not very informative or knowledgeable
It fails badly in comparison badly to the TNT guys.
His voice is too feminine. Jalen Rose is a boss.
I have no idea why people like the TNT guys. Its like a bunch of third graders who get paid to goof off with some occasional insight from Barkley
Ill agree to disagree. Post retirement Shaq is the furthest from entertainment you can getHey, we liked to be entertained, while listening to these guys. ESPN crew is boring and its hard for a lot of people to stay tuned in.

I'd rather be bored to death than listen to the TNT crew. My 5 year old daughter is more intelligent than the collection of dimwits on that show.
Its safe to say, we all miss NBA on NBC!
I can hear the intro music in my head right now, with the man at the end saying, "This is NBA, on NBC."
So NBA analysis is better when they aren't talking about basketball?I think Kenny Smith is very intelligent. I watch Barkley and Shaq for the entertaining. I love how all 3 of them say what's on their mind, and dont care what's political correct.
You have to also admit, the show do a lot of funny things, like funny pictures, pranks, and competitions.

Where you been at bro?
They need Magic, Wilbon and Simmons. You need homers from the big 3 basketball regions
