I would phrase it more like "To stay in the fray is Bray." Or "Bray to stay in the fray. What do you say?"

I guess you need a third QB in camp to run third string Offense... That's what I think.

The new CBA will allow Bray to be on our practice squad... again.

The guy is going into his 8th year. He's made 4 million dollars (per Spotrac) and has only attempted 1 career pass. Pretty cozy job for a dude to cruise through his 20's with. If only the NFL didn't take away the emergency 3rd QB rule and he could have been active for Sunday's all these years. He probably lost millions because of that.

I wonder what the longest career is for a player that never had any action of consequence. Bray appears to be set to cruise to 10 years, easy.

It's almost like since he's never played - he's never had an opportunity to prove himself. However, he's also never had an opportunity to prove he DOESN'T belong either. lol

Now that Pace has 3 QBs I expect well draft one. Maybe go hog wild and trade next years picks to move up. Pace is unpredictable but also predictable.

We would be more likely to draft a QB if we didn't re-sign Bray.

Worst positions on the team last year were QB and TE, so solution is to just sign 47 of them and we're good. Odds richi. Odds.

If Foles, Mitch and Stafford all go down-which is surprisingly possible...We can have the Bray/Chase bowl. I'm intrigued.

You would think. So it's exactly why I don't. Pace has a MO and likes covering up his targets so no one thinks he is drafting that position.

How is this guy still a thing!?!?

When you never play in a game through 7 seasons - apparently people just haven't seen enough to become convinced that you're "NOT" good...?

Note to bad QB's entering the league: Try not to play, ever. Your career will be very long and lucrative.

4 million dollars for 7 seasons. Has played in 1 game and attempted 1 NFL pass which fell incomplete.

Meme-tier QB. 10 year vet, no starts. Not far away from it now!

I remember when MJ was making 35 thousand per shot attempt his last year. 4 mil per pass is even more impressive.

I would still not be surprised if Pace went after a qb that falls in the second round. Most teams don’t carry three, but it could really light a fire under Trubisky and provide another guy to potentially take the starter job.

I won't rule out anything, but with the Foles signing, I'm going with the hunch that Pace will wait at least a year when he finally has a 1st round pick to go after a QB, assuming he feels we need one

I never believed in this notion of "lighting a fire" in Trubisky. He's not going to try harder now because Foles is there. If this was the case Trubisky is not much of a professional. Most of the time it just takes time before they figure it out, not because they were pushed by outside competition.

A franchise QB has shown his true colors by the end of season 2.75 as a starter. Mitch all of a sudden becoming a consistently good franchise QB is a pipe dream at this point. The absolute WORST thing that could happen is he starts the season and we play some sh*t team like Detroit and he goes off and it's proven bullsh*t as the rest of the season progresses as one would expect at this point. My tears will be so salty if that happens.
