I got this ad here a few days ago (I'm looking into grad school, but not at UNCheat.)

It didn't include all the relevant information though...

Oh the irony... my entire childhood I had to endure how "superior" the education and standards were at Chapel Hill. Talk about giving lip service...

Just read that Peppers GPA was a whopping 1.824. Seriously? How in the hell is that even eligible to play sports?

The funniest part is that he received piss poor grades in some of the "imaginary" classes....guess they didn't want to throw up any red flags on his transcript.

1.8 is the minimum GPA for student-athlete eligibility by the NCAA. VT has a minimum of 2.0 that you must maintain to stay eligible. basically, peppers would not have been eligible to play either bball or fball for the Hokies with those stats.

also, i noticed a class called "black experience" .... what do you learn about in that class? and what makes it hard enough to where you would get a D+, and a D in the second level of it?

That's hilarious! As they make light of the academic experience that they're not having...

I calculate a 1.08 GPA at the begining of spring 1999, based on "Quality" Points / "Quality" Hours. 1.43 heading into the fall of 1999. 1.36 at the start of spring 2000. How in the world is it even possible to be enrolled at UNC with these GPAs, let alone play scholarship football? The 1.84 is bad enough as a total GPA, but with those first three semesters, he never should have even played a snap.

If you are playing football and basketball do the requirements get cut in half? That seems reasonable...
