Nebraska fans should worry more about why they aren't consistently running the table if their schedule is so poor IMO.

Most years in the B12, the only games to get excited about were OU and UT. Seems the author is having a bit of selective memory. The B1G is down for the moment. Take advantage of that and win some conf titles because Michigan and PSU aren't going to be down forever.

And whether or not they're any good, if the author can't get excited about the likes of Wisconsin, MSU, Michigan, PSU, or Ohio State coming to Lincoln, then I don't know what to say. Sure, you gotta play the Indianas and Purdues too. The B12 has their cupcakes too (TTU and Kansas, anyone?). Suck it up and win some games.

When Nebraska was in the Big 12 Texas Tech and Oklahoma State were top 5 teams. Big 12 South had 4 teams ranked in the top 10 so not sure I agree with you there.

TTU, A&M, and OKSt, and Mizzou were up and down and normally middle of the pack teams. KU, ISU, and Baylor were terrible most every year. KSU was bad when Snyder took a coaching hiatus and for the most part good but not great with him as coach. Colorado was terrible with the exception of the very beginning of the conference. The only teams that were consistently good in the B12 were OU and UT, and since Nebraska was in the B12 north, they didn't play both those schools every year. It's not like Nebraska had a world beater schedule in the B12 and took some massive step down by moving the the B10.

The Big ten is in trouble, since they have no stake in California, Florida or Texas. They're the only major conference with this problem, and therefore can't recruit the athletes needed to compete at a high level. The big 12 is in solid shape with 4 Texas schools, but it'd be nice to get a foot in another door. (florida or cali)

In general I agree with you. To the bolded though, we got NONE of those this year.
