An article written in Boston, prior to the post season for the 2014 season, about the decline of an aging QB and his poor playoff performances.

This is a football forum it's football. Get over it.

FIFY

2014 Postseason stats,

33/50 66%, 367 yards, 3 td, 1 int, 99.3 rating, 1 rushing td
23/35 65.71%, 225 yards, 3 td, 1 int, 100.4 rating
37/50 74% rating, 328 yards, 4 td, 2 int, 101.1 rating

Do you ever not cherry pick stats/articles in a lame attempt to make a point?

Heh...nice. Though its debatable for some and asinine for many. Edelman should've won last year's SB MVP imo. How many passes did Brady complete that traveled more than 10 yards beyond the LOS. 1? 2? Be that as it may. It was almost criminal that he won the MVP in the Pats first SB. Of that there can be no debate.

Yes heaving long passes is the really the only thing a QB is supposed to do in football games.

People forget that it's much harder to sustain long drives when you concentrate on the short passing game. As if defenses don't know what to do against that type of offense. :L

i.e. if it was so easy why doesn't every team do it.

Taking a team down 10 late in the Superbowl to victory was a big deal.

Why do I want to read articles that are over a year old that the writer regrets writing?????

tTard is heading out to buy Dan Shaughnessy's "Curse of the Bambino" as soon as his mommy gives him his allowance. Cuz he wants to be informed.

It is obsolete. The point was made and then refuted by another superbowl run.

The article was written in Dec 14 not 1 1/2 years ago. It's not obsolete it shows a huge pattern and explains a 10year drought.

Not my problem NE fans can't look at numbers and see TB isn't what he was...

Probably explains why BB went wih Edelman and the substitution play against the Ravens.... Also why it took a rookie corner to save NE and TB from a hat trick of Super Bowl losses in a row.

My favorite part...

Brady threw two interceptions in his first playoff loss in Denver, one fewer than he had tossed in his previous 10 playoff games combined. In the 15 postseason games that followed, he threw 17 more, three against the San Diego Chargers, twice, and three more in a wild card loss to the

Baltimore Ravens, perhaps the most "embarrassing" defeat on Brady’s playoff resume, which also featured a career-low 49.1 quarterback rating.(blown out in the playoffs at home)

Nothing to see here folks.... lol... This article is on point and exposes his decline from the early years.

Not even close to the same guy.

Talk about "cherry picking"

Why didntu use the 2009 49.1 QBR rating game against the Ravens?

I didn't write the article...

Just think it's well written and has a lot of facts in it... U should read it it talks about Brady's 10 year lack of SB wins and th loss to Baltimore being his most embarrassing playoff loss when he threw 3 int's and had a QBR of 49.1...

Informative. :pound:

Yep that was a bad game all right. It does happen. I didn't realize the Ravens were so bad and their fans so desperate for recognition that they had to cherry pick their way against a Hall of Fame career by Brady in order to make themselves feel better.

Seems to happen a lot with teams when they match up against the Patriots. I'm sure Indy still loves to think about their few successes too. Jets too. I guess that's what happens when you're a fan of a second tier team... :thumb:

So Rock Strongo OPs a thread that is still on the board named:

Joe Flacco Elite, second tier, or bottom feeder?

So using ur analogy I'm guessing Strongo and NE fans are so desperate and so bad and seeking desperation hat he must post about Flacco in an effort to to make gems elves feel better?

Or is what u just wrote from a homers perspective and u ignore when NE fans constantly do this and prompt this and only when NE and Brady are the target is it wrong?

Hmmm?

Rock was just trying to help you.

BTW, the votes are in and everyone (29 adults) besides the 3 Raisins homers thinks Joe Flacco is good, but not elite.

Tough break kid, but look at the bright side, you can still watch the Power Rangers with you Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles footy pajamas on. :thumb:

It was written just before Brady marched to another SB win. Bad timing by the author.

It proved nothing.

Maybe he's egging you on like I am? :D

But yes I am partially serious too. You and fans of other teams seem to make a big deal out of beating the Patriots. It must be something special, right?

The Ravens certainly have won some big playoff games against the Pats but they've also lost some big ones too. You seem to ignore those with big blinders on for some reason.

Every team that plays the Patriots treat it like their SB.

Take the Browns beating them in 2010
