So you agree with his findings?

Just want to be clear here.

Do you disagree that Texas could possibly win 2 more games this year than last year with Case McCoy as the QB? Out of all the weird shit my formula came up with only a sooner would be obsessed with Texas going 10-2 and not winning the conference...

Interesting analysis. Be interesting to see how it works.

By my reckoning, that is eleven B1G teams ahead of Nebraska. Hopefully, your analysis sucks.

Bookmarked the thread for fun. Either I end up crying or laughing.

That is what makes it fun to be a fan.

The Big 10 turned out weird...

I also wouldn't bet a dime LSU and Notre Dame finish under .500

That would be a disaster

I don't know if Missouri falls off that much but I don't expect a repeat of last year by any means. Your DL has a lot to replace and it was a difference maker. You don't win your bowl game without those guys and I'm sure they won some regular season games too. I do like your QB though.

I'd like his predictions to be accurate for Texas(10-2 would be great for Strong's first season), but I don't have complete faith in any predictive method involving sports, especially one done for an entire season before a game has been played.

So Indiana is going to have ROAD wins over 3 Top 30 teams ( Iowa, Ohio State and Michigan ), 2 ROAD wins vs bowl team ( Mizzou and Rutgers ) and a home win over #22 Maryland. Go 11-1 winning their last 5 games and STILL ONLY be ranked 15th??? Thats some mother fucking disrespect there... LOL

Houston 11-1 (8-0)
Cincinnati 9-3 (7-1)
Memphis 8-4 (6-2)
UCF 7-5 (6-2)
USF 7-5 (5-3)
East Carolina 6-6 (5-3)
Tulane 4-8 (3-5)
Connecticut 3-9 (2-6)
Temple 2-10 (1-7)
Tulsa 1-11 (1-7)
SMU 0-12 (0-8)

Awesome. Guess Houston's lone loss, since it's out of conference, is to the other Cougars, which is presumably why BYU finishes one spot ahead of UH in the final poll. Nice. :suds:

Those ratings were preseason power ratings. I have no idea how the final top 25 will look. I'm still trying to figure that out right now.

I'm just reaffirming the OP title...very interesting indeed.

They will be 12-1. Loss to Alabama, who goes 10-2. Other than that, no arguments :yahoo:
