bowen has a knees issue another canidate to shut down for the year

reed had a concussion . hopefully he will be back next week

Figure by the time we play Dallas, half of us will be looking at guys in the draft at this rate.

With Hankerson & Reed questionable for Monday I hope Davis is activated for Monday Night.

At one point during the last drive yesterday we were fielding Logan Paulsen, Nick Williams, Aldrick Robinson & Santana Moss.

davis hasnt been activated because he doesnt play special teams and he is a jordan clone

now i am sure they actvate him if reed cant go

yes but shanahan indicated morgan would be activated for hankerson

A #3 on a good team is known as a #2 on a bad team. Oh and he's young and learning. Truth is...he's an adequate #2 or pretty damn close to it.

I'd like to see what he can do. Morgan and moss will not be with this team next year. Now is the time to see what we have so we know what we need to address in the offseason. I'd give Williams reps in the slot and Robinson and Lewis split reps at the #2 wr position. I don't see how they can be worse with the exception of blocking, which is important to our scheme. But we have to find out. Maybe Lewis can also return punts?

in theory , bringing up lewis is the way to go but morgan is the next guy up and you cant tell a guy like morgan that you need to do this and this to get the job back then bring up lewis and put him in

i think you lose credibilty doing that

you play morgan and perhaps he plays well and you bring him back after you void his contract at a lower rate

You don't become a good team by giving up on a third round pick in year 3 after improvements in each season.

He's the third option on a team where the QB can't get past option #2.
