If your point is that MJ never could beat teams with multiple all stars, that's fair. But you said he never had to play against them.

He lost to the Celtics and Pistons in the east before breaking through as he got a better team around him. Those were very tough championship caliber opponents back in the day.

That confirms it. Today definitely is "make pointless pedantic comments" day.

We all know that Jordan played games against Bird and Magic.

You just can’t take a team from the 80s or 90s and compare them to today’s NBA. Way different era and rules, along with FA.

And you really can’t blame Lebron. Celtics did it with Garnett Allen and Pierce. Then Lebron jumped and created a super team but it was a bit over the top with the “decision”.

Golden St drafted very well and then has added pieces. Chicago in the 80s/90s did it mostly through the draft as well besides Ron Harper and Rodman. That’s why Golden St has been dominant. Yeah Durant broke the league and it was kinda like  but then you see how much Westbrook is a head case and I don’t blame KD any more either. Was it weak after being up 3-1 on GS sure but that boy Russell ain’t right.

Just different eras.

Problem with the Lakers right now is the coach is not respected and now players don’t know where they will be when they wake up tomorrow. For a team game that’s a big problem

The "LeBron's gonna trade you" chant is pretty humorous.

However:

During their playing days, Magic and Jordan both got their head coaches replaced.

Isiah Thomas had Adrian Dantley run out of Detroit.

This is nothing new in the NBA.

But I still don’t think Lebron is the GOAT

Jordan never played against 4 all stars to my knowledge but he did have 3 other dudes on the floor with him during the 96-98 run that were some of the best defenders of all time.

I agree — I’d put him in the top 3-5, but he knows he isn’t a guy who is going to carry a team and he needs to be surrounded with other superstars to win a title.

It is why he left to Miami to finally win one. Then once he saw Miami wasn’t going to be good enough, he came back to Cleveland for one reason (Kyrie and two other #1 overall picks they could trade for Love). Once Cleveland wasn’t going to be a contender, he jumps to LA.

That’s why it was so humorous to hear the Indiana fans, because it is absolutely true.

Can’t carry a team? Lord have mercy the idiocy of that statement. Fucker carried every team on his back to a NBA finals. None of those teams would’ve made to the eastern conference finals let alone the finals without him.

would have the ball in his hands with the game on the line. In Miami, he teamed up with not, but two all-nba players and when the game was on the line — Wade was the one with the ball in his hands, but Lebron carried them.
Then he goes back to Cleveland with two more all-NBA talents, but Lebron carries them too.
There was one team where LeBron carried the team. Cleveland first appearance in the finals and they were swept 4-0 and Lebron quit on the team.

If we could clone five prime Michael Jordans and five prime Lee Brown Jameses, and have them play a game, the Lee Browns would fuck the Jordans up. Even if the fifth Lee Brown clone was retarded like in Multiplicity.

Book market.

If it was half court 1 on 1 — I’d take Jordan 99 tunes out of 100. Lebron can’t beat mediocre defenders off the dribble — he isn’t beating a guy considered one of the best perimeter defenders the game has seen. (Most forget, Jordan was a defensive player of the year and a 10 time first team all defense, also led the league in steals multiple years)

If it were a full court game of 1 on 1, where Lebron gets a full head of steam — I’d take Lebron. Half court — I’d take quite a few guys in the NBA right now over Lebron.

Plus — Lebron doesn’t have the killer instinct many of the all time greats had. It isn’t something you can teach or learn — you are born with it. If Lebron had that — he’d be unstoppable.

Or maybe it is "next time I should express my thoughts more clearly" day. You have been trying to deflect ever since you typed your remark instead of acknowledging you worded your take poorly.

JFC...

Indrid Cold said: Even Jordan didn't win titles until the Bulls got some top talent as well as useful role players around him....
Flyerhawk said: And Jordan never had to play against a team with 4 All-Stars and 2-3 Hall of Famers.

It was a DIRECT response to IC's comment about Jordan not winning titles until they got talent. You and Wamu decided to just ignore what IC said and take my comment as a standalone statement rather than as a RESPONSE to what IC said.

I know this will really be going out on a limb, but he has a losing record because he has lost more games than he has won in the finals.

No. I was asking why you're shoehorning "literally" into sentences where it really has not business being in.

It's the new thing. Literally. Tards stuff that word in all kinds of ridiculous places.

Well I’m not sure if Jordan was involved in hand picking those players like Lebron has been but if he was he damn sure did a better job.

Lee Brown would buttfuck Jordan right in the face at Pop-A-Shot.

Did any of those guys do anything close to what Lebron did last night? He tells his teammates they should stay off social media, then loses by 42 and then proceeds to go to social media to pat himself on the back for getting to 32,000 pts. This guy has done some bad shit but this looks bad, even by his standard.

Pop-a-shot — Lebron May have a chance, as he wouldn’t have to beat anyone off the dribble.

Normal halfcourt 1 on 1 — He isn’t beating a lot of guys in the NBA right now, let alone Jordan.

If for some reason he decided to play full court 1 on 1 — I’d give Lebron the edge, because when he has a full head of steam, he is unstoppable. Off the dribble or in ISO situations — he isn’t even top 10 in the NBA right now.

If that’s what he did that is pretty gay. He’s a weird guy Lebron. Social media has ruined some of these dudes and make a lot of others look bad
