In Game Thread- Preseason vs Eagles

Hey you watching the game? I don't know how you guys watch the games- but I've always been on a ingame thread- A little play-by-play...and comment on what you see!


This always seems to happen, but where I live- it ALWAYS happens that the feed during preseason games always get's messed up- for the first 6 min of game time I could only hear the announcers and there was no picture- SO pissed!

Good to see the D making plays. I take nothing away from any of this pre-season nonsense, but it is good to see them not get embarrassed.

Now… for that backup QB battle.

This D-line has too much competition to know what to do with. If these young players look good in the pre-season, there's going to be guys cut that are more than worth of being on an NFL roster.

Not a bad problem to have.

Trevor Scott has been all over the field early.
Ego has also shown some good hustle trailing plays and high motor. Nice to see.

with eagles no-huddle play... it will tax some of these in the first NFL game. That's good.

But hey… remember how bad McCown looked in pre-season last year? This board was up in arms that we didn't bring in another legit vet QB to compete with him.

Oh yeah- we have a long way to go until this QB thing is settled.

not sure how many Eagle starters are still in on Dline- but if we lose any starters on OLine it's going to be ugly. That was a terrible series for this backup OLine.

Didn't expect this. The door is open for Clausen to take the lead in the race here, if he can really perform.

Not making excuses for anyone- but defending this type of offense that is going no huddle is tough for a first preseason game.
Let's just not see any more sacks/penalties. OR injuries.
