I don't want to be Danny downer here, but I was not all that impressed by the oline play in this game. Great game, great win, but our offense wasn't even on the field that much due to the punt return and fumble return, plus two long scoring passes.
I thought the oline played really well the past two games. aside from the 56 yard run by Cunningham, the Rams averaged less than 2 1/2 yards per carry, they were getting stuffed at the line. Other than the bomb to Austin our offense looked the same as it always does. at least Clemons hit a wide open Austin, something another QB we have had trouble doing. As another poster mentioned the 4 yard dump off pass to Austin was the same play they have been using all year, it's just that a combination of the Colt defenders being out of position and the Rams doing some great blocking downfield.
As far as some people saying that we would have won 2 more games with Bradford in there instead of Clemons, that's debatable. As Sj76 has stated Clemens at least steps up in the pocket and scrambles a little bit, Bradford probably would have been sacked on a few of those plays and we would of had the same results. Plus Bradford has thrown three TD passes to the opposition this year, he may well have done it again. But we will never know either way.
We are 4-6 and we could easily be 6-4 with some breaks whether we had Bradford or Clemens in there.
