Uh, no. He had more innings, a lower ERA, WHIP, and career high strikeout rate in 2016. His 2015 is better too.

Of course they are. Posey 's offensive numbers have gone down each of the last 3 years; especially the power numbers. He's got an excuse though. Catching takes its toll on the body. There's a reason the Giants have been baseballs worst team for the past season and a half; age.

I have been arguing against getting him since the rumors started during the season. NOT getting him was the smart move.

But the short-sighted fan in me was getting excited about following him in a Giants uniform.
