I was a student at LSU for Andrew. Lived in the frat house and we had no power for 2 weeks. Had absolutely nothing to do so I was tripping on acid for most of that time.

Fun times.

I was working in LC for a contractor at the Air Force radar site. When Andrew got in the gulf, it was headed straight to LC. The AF said shut the site down, put the antennas in free spin and get the hell out, and that's what I did. I went to my parents house, about 15 miles west of Natchez. Andrew took a northern turn and the eye passed about 60 miles east of here. Lot of wind and rain. LC never got a drop of rain or any wind. They ended up with a usual summer day, hot and muggy.
