I had no idea he was gone. I brought this thread back up just for him as a little dig. As for Smith, I think just about all fans believe he's a very good WR. But to declare way in advance that he'd become the league's top WR, especially with all the existing talent already established, it kinda walks the line between confidence and arrogance..

And FTR, Smith is currently 28th in total yards received and tied for 38th in avg yards. The good news for him tho it's still only his 3rd year, so he has 12 more games to establish himself as the best WR in the league. Honest.

He had a slow start to last season as well. The Eagles used their light schedule early as their preseason. It’s taken a little bit for the pass offense to get untracked. Smitty will be fine.
