There isn't a single team in the NFL that could deal with the injuries the Packers have sustained and be OK. Injuries are a part of the NFL, but let's not act like the team is failing when it is in an impossible situation.
Let's follow that train of thought. Let's say Rodgers plays and the offense moves the ball as effectively as it did and is able to score more points. Can you realistically tell me that you'd trust the defense to stop the Eagles offense? Offensive Philly was doing whatever they wanted for large chunks of that football game. Philly hit us on some deep passes because there was no pass rush, and the secondary got torched.
Scott Tolzien will never be Aaron Rodgers, but Tolzien was able to move the ball effectively against the Eagles. As concerning as it is to be without Aaron Rodgers, the defense is an even bigger issue. With more practice time with 1's, Scott Tolzien can at least turn himself into an effective quarterback that can get us through these games until Aaron comes back.
If they were doing whatever they wanted id expect them to have been able to get more than 3 touchdowns in 9 offensive drives. Rodgers would have probably blown that game open before the 4th quarter based on what tolzien was doing to them.

There isn't a single team in the NFL that has been as fortunate as the Packers when it comes to injuries at the QB position in the last 20 plus years.
So, you were okay with how the defense is playing? Look, I completely agree with you that losing Rodgers is huge, but to say the defense isn't an issue?
It was a 10-3 football at halftime, and I'll give the defense credit for a great first half, but the second half the wheels came off and we give up 17 points we could afford to give up. I'll say this, if Mason Crosby makes a couple of field goals that game changes.
Maybe you're right, with Rodgers in the game it's a win. But, I look at the defense struggling and Crosby missing a couple of field goals and I see it as an uphill climb.
