What round would you think would be most appropriate to draft a WR? I'm thinking the 2-4 range where it's likely you can find a guy who can play second fiddle to Tate until he's ready. Of hand, what are the WR free agents this summer?

I wouldn't mind either Bengals WR Mohamad Sanu or Marvin Jones.

I'd rather spend FA money first on defense on DBs. Sean Smith or Janoris Jenkins at CB and Weddle at S.

Then on DT or DE... I really like Jaques Smith DE from Tampa, although he's a ERFA, so I don't see Tampa NOT locking him in for cheap vet contract. Then he's stuck in Tampa. Truly DL is thin in FA this year.

I would bet the Lions go oline and dline heavy the first few rounds.. then around 3 or 4 try to find a WR.

I would love to see the Lions draft one of the following WR
  • jakeem grant
  • Josh Doctson
  • De'Runnya Wilson
one of these guys should be around in the 3rd or 4th round... jakeem grant may be around even later because he is like 5'6''... but the kid can flat out move and catch the ball.

I want to see the Lions draft O line and D line HEAVY. They have extra draft picks in the middle rounds so they should try to aim there for WR.

Hopefully the new GM will realize a WR isn't very good at pass blocking.

He's injured now.
He is always injured... The guy is going to command a huge deal. Giving big money to a WR is almost as dumb as giving it to a RB... Look at the last few Superbowl winners and see how many were paying big money to WR. Draft a WR or two... most likely they just restructure Calvin's contract and bring in a WR in the draft.

Alshon.

Might as well go ahead and upgrade.

And Alex Mack. Is he a FA yet?

And Matt Forte.

Or anybody the above.

And Anquan Boldin.
