I hope a 1 loss Michigan with a far superior resume gets left out in favor of Bama. We will have an 8 team playoff next year if that happens .

There hasn't yet been an outrageous pick in the top 4. The controversy around two of them were the faults of the teams around them for having such issues on their slate to make that choice hard. Nothing more.

I think it really depends on how Alabama loses to Georgia and how Michigan beats who ever they play. If it is a close loss that does down to the very last seconds of the game and Michigan can barely beat an inferior team then Alabama would probably get the nod over Michigan because they would have a more impressive resume.

After watching Auburn lose to UGA, it doesn’t look like the Iron Bowl will be much of a game (although rivalry games are crazy). I’m rooting for Bama for the next few weeks. I don’t want anyone jumping Michigan if they happen to win out.
