Had to look at this for inspiration:
Legends of the NBA: 25 Best Players of the 80s | Bleacher Report
He would have been 12th on that list...
maybe!
You've got Nique & Worthy over him ? Please just stop.

Anyone who's seen bball of the 80s, onwards knows that this decade (2010 till now) is pathetically weak when it comes to superstars.
Lebron, Curry, Harden and Westbrook don't hold a candle against Kareem, Magic, Bird, Jordan. Or even Jordan, The Dream, Shaq, Mailman and The Glove of the 90s.
So why the hell are you kids comparing lebron to Jordan then?

How drunk are you right now?
You have to remember. Defenders cant handcheck now, they cant even touch a player. That limits pretty much everything, it sucks.
Bc he is the greatest of this generation, even though they played different positions![]()
I'd pay any amount of money to see James Worthy spin at the baseline and dunk on Lebron so fast he never even reacts.
This generation is pathetically weak. Hardly a competition!

If Lebron was born and played in the 80's he would be a totally different player. He would have been a power forward rather than a point forward. His post moves would have been better developed but his perimeter skills would have suffered. He would have been playing predominantly in the post up against the PF, SF and Center's in that time.
He would have not grown up idolising MJ or Magic...since they would not have been playing while he was growing up. His game would be totally different. And in those days, games were played in the post.
In which case he wouldn't stand a chance. Kareem would have made him look like a schoolgirl!
