Definitely agree with the Leino decision too for Buffalo.

Under the old cap structure I'd agree with the Sens not cutting anyone. If however the structure changes and they aren't in danger of falling below the floor, Gonchar might not be a bad candidate for the axe.

The Jackets - Jack Johnson? He's probably making too much for what he delivers (not by comparison, though), but he's going to be the captain and the ONLY marketable talent on the ice. Cut him? No way.

It's Mason. That contract is the elephant in the room. He's a head case and taking up a spot some young guy can have. Gotta be Mason.

You know your team is in trouble when it acquires two NHL forwards in a trade for the teams best player & niether one of them will be the leading scorer on the team.

Who knows maybe Prospal will outscore Brassard again this year. Actually I think there's an even better chance that Johnson or Wisniewski could lead the Blue Jackets in scoring.
