Dallas BACKUP center beat the SB champs, helped Tony to 22-29 helped with an effective run game in the 2nd half and slowed down the Giants pass rush

No excuses? Sucking isn't an allowable excuse?

What about the opposing line being better than them? Is that acceptable?

I now agree with Jwill. Stats are useless, so who cares if PFF had him ranked 31st in run blocking last season. Watch with your eyes. They will never lie to you.

First off, DeMarco Murray had much to do with the effectiveness of the running game. The 48 yarder he ripped off should have been a five yard loss, but he broke two tackles in the backfield and then got outside. Secondly, Dallas' center didn't face anything like Ngata.

A Faine vs Gnata matchup should be a even match.....Ngnata is not fully healthy either...Did you know that?????

A NY Giants Dline is pretty impressive...These guys get sick pressure on the QB and the Giants pressure is WAY better than Bmores....YOU DISAGREE?????????????? cause of Suggs??? When NY has Kiwanuka, JPP and Tuck???

and who is to say WE DONT break a 48 yarder on the Ravens....shit is not impossible....

Again NO GOT DAMN EXCUSES!

Wait...check that. I was genuinely excited about our chances in 2010. That worked out well.

The Dallas center wasn't blocking those pass rushing ends. Faine must deal directly with Ngata.....at 50% he will still blow Faine away....I hope A Dalton can survive this game.....

You guys know there is this little thing called a double team. Ngata will get them all night with no Suggs to fear off the edge.

If they have to double team Ngata on every play, the Ravens LB corps will have a big game.......and he'll still make some plays.....he's that good.....I'd feel much better about our chances after Faine, Zeitler, and Boling have a few games together under their belts....three new guys in the middle of the line is a prescription for potential disaster until they've had time to jell......

Holati at 50% is better than just about any NT in the NFL at 100%. His size makes all the difference in the world.

Besides...the Giants don't have the kind of defense the Ravens are going to bring...and the center was the only major change to that line. We've lost our starting LG, and Center, and are starting two rookies next to a brand new center.

It's a bad, bad mix.

Beside Ngata, no one has bothered to mention Terrence Cody, who is another monster lining up next to Ngata. Can't double both, and Cody's nearly 400 lbs.

I've always been a fan of the 4-3 when you have two fat-assed DT's to take up a lot of space and force OL to double one or both of them.

Last time Ravens won the SB and had that historic defense...their DT's were monsters.

I love that kind of defense too....you just aren't going to run anywhere against a couple of fat tackles....it's just a horrible matchup for our inside guys this week.....by the time we play them again things could be much better....what's interesting is the Ravens use a 3-4 base, with one LB designated as rusher (was Suggs) and Cody listed as NT, and Ngata as DT.....Faine will probably be blocking Cody more often than Ngata, who I bet will be playing over Boling or Zeitler, and either way it's baptism by fire for those guys.....Zeitler will probably be fine, Boling, I have no clue. Let's hope Ray Lewis has slowed down a lot, or he could have a huge day.....
