I honestly think we are going to lose that game to Northwestern.

I think we're going to win all the rest of them though and stroll in with a 10-2 record.....right on pace for the usual

I'm sort of concerned about the Michigan game, but only because it's on the road.

If we win that game we're going to the Championship game. That's my guarantee for the year right there.

We aren't going to lose at home to Michigan State because they just plain and simply aren't good enough Offensively to come in to Lincoln and take us down.

Northwestern is good enough though and we do not stack up well against them at all. It's like UCLA all over again, just not quite as many athletes.

I'm only slightly more concerned with NW than um, it's like they put together the exact type of offense we have the most trouble with, and their defense is just good enough to give us a hard time

I think we beat NW but loss to mich

But I don't think the mich loss will hurt us

2 losses still gets you in

I'm worried about the losses we don't see coming like psu or msu

I think we can beat mich but not on the road.

This all reminds me of the old big12 north haha everybody has a chance

Luckily, Penn State has had their luck game at home with Michigan. This means they can lose one now for keeping balance in the universe. Unless that Mike McCloskey terrible call referee had a kid that is reffing the game, then all bets are off.

personally I think PSU and MSU have offenses that Bo can handle. Are we 100% to win? No, but I think we are better than 50/50.

Mich and NW do worry me and as I said, NW will be highly dependant upon Colter playing. Semen (or however you spell it) doesn't really worry me, we should be able to handle him just like MSU did.

Siemian.

I assume you meant Ohio St or Wisconsin because Mich St hasn't played Northhwestern yet this season.

I'm more concerned about Mich St than any other team Nebraska has in it's regular season. Nebraska is going to have to throw the ball to beat them so do you go with aptitude unstable/turnover prone senior Taylor, or limited game experience potential turnover prone Tommy.

Mich St defense is very opportunistic and their offense has found a groove the last 2 weeks. I fully expect that Mich St will control the LOS on both sides of the ball.

That Nebraska has them at home gives me some hope.

I am not very concerned for Michigan State personally.

I think we will win that game something to the tune of 24-9.

That Offense found a groove against dumb and dumber over the past 2 weeks. They aint strollin into Lincoln and walking away with a win. This is the type of Offense that Bo Pelini actually does well against.

Yeah but we always start slow and then make mistake that put us in a hole early

Msu has defense which means they will be in the game.

But the big question is if Taylor comes back and is shaky what do you do? How short or long is his leash

Also last thing beck needs to quit with the multiple crap and run within condense playbook for both qbs. Seriously if we keep it simple on offense and get the ball into our playmakers hands we should be fine even against NW n mich

On defense if your gonna fuck up, fuck up fast be aggressive . Mistakes are gonna happen just make sure you make the offense earn it

my take on this thread is this

THE BIG IS WIDE OPEN !!

it is juuuuuuust open

I keep hearing this pops........but I really don't agree.

Ohio State has locked up the Leaders Division and while everyone thinks a 2 loss team wins the Legends, it will be a 1 loss team.

Michigan is all out of sorts and Northwestern is headed for 3 or 4 losses.

Odds are pretty solid right now that the Championship game will be Ohio State vs. Nebraska/Michigan State

Historically, it has been the teams with Offenses that have made Bo Pelini coached football teams look silly.

I can't think of very many games where we faced steep Defensive competition but an average Offense and ended up coming away with a loss.

Michigan State just seems to fit that cookie cutter Bo Pelini win mold to me

Coincidentally, on BTN Football and Beyond tonight they have discussed the situation as we are here and they very much agree that it's Ohio State vs. either Nebraska or Michigan State as of right now with the way things set up.

Pat Forde seems to believe that Nebraska has turned things around and will be in the Championship game.

I don't think Nebraska has turned things around per se, but I do believe the Defense is starting to experience some success up front with communication and feeling things begin to settle in.

If Purdue beats MSU....holy shit. The division is literally ours to lose.
