How about taking a poll as to who wants a total rebrand for the banner versus one that includes washington’s storied football history - including green, riggo, Gibbs, and the rings?

if you can convince me the nats are the expos and the wizards are the bullets then i will think about it

then after that the dallas texans are the colts , and the oilers are the titans , or the afl dallas texans are the KC Chiefs or the rangers are the senators or the twins are the senators

if you can convince me of those things i will open it up to a vote

also remember changing the banner is going to be hard because the one person who is able to do it is very hard to reach

I dont see why the banner would have to have any of those players in any new goofy helmet, as they are part of the history of the storied football franchise in washington.

Why should anybody have to concince you of anything? A simple poll is all you should require, as you are the moderator of this board, not it’s ruler.

What’s right is clearly different than what you prefer, and that’s why you’re having a hard time accepting what is right.

The fact is that it should not be up to you, solely, as to what should be on our banner, because it’s OUR banner - not yours.
It’s that simple.

this banner thread is about that i asked for ideas . or else i wouldnt have made the thread .

. i dont have any pettiness at all . just because your idea isnt the direction i want to go doesnt mean i am petty .
