the name of the fucking thread is WHO WOULD YOU RATHER HAVE- and he says Whiteside over Tristan---- a THREAD CREATED by him--- and then tries to worm out of some stupid Beasley comment where he says ID RATHER HAVE BEASLEY---- and then goes- oh well it has NOTHING TO DO WITH TALENT, lol...OBVIOUSLY man....there is a reason Beasley cant stick in the NBA .

Well my very misinformed sources told me that Beasley was tired of ruling the NBA & needed a tougher challenge, so he went to China so he can now dominate the world!

its just him playing his typical games...weaseling out of the words he said--- i swear- its like being under Soviet control- one minute one statement can mean one thing- the next- the very same statement can mean something totally different...its very comical.

well- when you USE THE SAME EXACT wording as you did for a thread about Tristan vs. Whiteside for Beasley over BOTH of those guys- it obviously sends a mixed message...

all though- I do have to say- we all know that you really wouldnt rather have Beasley over just about anyone if WINNING was what you were trying to do- and not some personal perference.

he despises Gilbert and LeBron......Gilbert is a constant reminder of an owner that is willing to step up for his team....while right now Mickey Arison is looking into how he can cut his tax bill--- Gilbert is out there giving Griffin permission to use that Haywood tax exception if the right deal comes around....you can see a clear cut difference- penny pincher- vs. ill do whatever i can to bring the fans a winner.

Gilbert better do something if he doesn't want Decision II.
James only plays for the hope of a ring.

great comments by Bosh that echoed what i said- I thought Whiteside woudlnt flip out until later in the season or playoffs when things get a lot more intense and emotional

When it was mentioned that this is Whiteside’s first real outburst of the year and he has done well restraining himself so far, Bosh acknowledged that but also pointed out “We’re adults. There’s only so many times– I mean, restraining? It’s not like this is the UFC. It’s basketball. It’s not that emotional. We haven’t had emotional games yet. If you think that’s emotional, then wait ‘til March and April when there’s problems if you don’t do your job. That’s tense.”

see i think this is something you just dont get- maybe its because you dont value it-- but Beasley is not in the NBA in large part because he is a clown and does not take his job seriously. You are right- if PURE talent was the only consideration- Beasley should at least be on the end of some teams bench. But- even if things dont always raise to suspension or ejection or whatever- teams dont like guys who are clowns and dont take the game seriously. THAT is why Beasley is in China and not the NBA....

though, if Whiteside is traded-- which I THOUGHT was a decent shot of happening (at least before last night when whhatever trade value he had was probably seriously mitigated) maybe you will get your wish.


seriously trade whiteside to LA Lakers for nance and a 2nd rounder- at leaset you would get a cheap, controllable big that actually works hard and would be a better fit.

Whiteside is a better NBA player then Tristan. That's been my argument, and what this thread is about.

Heat should deal Whiteside for a shooter and a big man that doesnt clog the middle and take away from Wades and Dragic's game.

If they got like a package that had a cheap, controllable decent big man prospect that could shoot a little bit, and a wing that could shoot a little bit- it would help their team so much more than a center who cant keep his head on straight, that cant shoot, that cant pass, that cant post up, that cant guard the pick and roll, that cant switch on defense, that cant keep his mouth shut and just be a pro.

at this point the incidents are just too many and too well documented


what do you do with a guy who loses his cool- cheap shots an opposing player- and gets ejected and suspended during a playoff race--- says he wont do it again- and then LESS THAN A YEAR later- cheap shots an opposing player and gets ejeeted and suspended in the middloe of a playoff race.

DEAL HIM- get whatver you can and dont look back. Be happy that you got some value from a guy that you got for nothing off the scrap heap--- because before too long- thats right where he is headed again.

you just cant count on a guy like that- and it hurts the team. You cant win with a guy like that- it destroys the team from the inside. Its why I would take AT LEAST 15 centers over Whiteside in the NBA without a second thought


even guys like WCS and Myles Turner on the Kings and Pacers respectively--- 2 good young big men with solid work ethics-- I would MUCH rather have either of those guys than Blancote.

Marjanovic indicated after the game that Whiteside's elbow did make contact, but that he did not believe there was malicious intent. Regardless, the Heat have pointed to previous incidents when they've dealt with Whiteside's inability to maintain composure on the court during games.


So the player involved said it wasn't malicious?

ohh no way!! RILEY WOULD NEVER TAKE LEBRON BACK ON 1 year deals with 1 year opts outs!!! IF THATS his condition- you can tell one of the best players in the history of the game to get packing and never come back to South Beach again!!!!! lol- they will take their chances in the lotto and bottom of the eastern conferene playoff race!!! Who wants to go to the Finals YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR if it means you have to give a guy a 1 year contract ? LOL
