This was never in doubt as the season rolled on but man what a great player. Starting his MLB career at the young old age of 27. Now 42 and 3,000 hits. Great Job
Ichiro is awesome.... I just wish M's ownership would a put a line-up around him back in the early 2000's ... They sold us out .. Good for Ichiro though...

Freshman year in high school we had to write a paper about 'our hero' and Dave is who I wrote about. Wrote that he saved baseball in Seattle. Back then I wanted to be a sports broadcaster, so to me he embodied everything I wanted to be someday.
Then I just decided to become an evil lawyer instead.
I wanted to be a sports statistician.....
