I dont see any idiocy there. The fact remains that when Canada had the population bring in all guns, the bad guys didnt show up.

During WWII Hitler marched around Switzerland because he didnt want to face an armed public.

I would love for the world to just be rid of guns, explosives and WMD's. But until that is the case I will own firearms and carry to protect myself and loved ones. Criminals can and will attain firearms to carry out their crimes even if they were to be banned to the public.
