For Husky fans, it's been "pinch me, I'm still dreaming" mode since Petersen walked through the door with his staff. Total PACNW guy whose getting it done in every category. And without the sleeze and player buying other schools pull to be relevant.

Smart investment by the AD as well.

Football is king at Washington. They sold 3000 new season ticket packages in just 3 days of going on sale for the 2017 season. Renewal rate for the year was reported at something like 97+%. For an AD whose had to clean up a financial mess left behind by the last guy and all the crap you have to deal with title IX, she's sitting pretty with Petersen running the show with the football program.

As for that "school" to the south, Phil's checkbook will keep them from being a doormat, but advantage Washington bigtime right now. They got a lot of work to do.
