I think this is a good plan by the Patriots and more teams should do this with the pandemic

This is a concern I had with Packer tickets where all the stadium is sold out with season ticket holders. Many of the season ticket holders are considered in the at risk category. This would not be a good situation to go to games if in the at risk category. But would you then risk losing your season tickets if you did not pay for them and would they go to someone else. If this was the case would people just pay for the tickets themselves to keep the season tickets and then just not go? Or have to try and sell them themselves.

The plan with the Patriots is nice where they just dont have to deal with anything and stay home for a year and then still have their seats for the next season.

Patriots allow at-risk season ticket holders to pass on 2020 without losing seats next year amid pandemic fears

Nobody with season tickets is going to want to watch their team get clobbered by the Browns. Good plan.

And all because Robert Kraft is such a "humanitarian."

Niners should do it too, they haven't had a QB in 27 years.

This isn't about doing it "for the fans".

It's about finding volunteers to not come to the game first before they have to start sending out notices to their season ticket holders that they aren't allowed to come to games this season.

Most teams aren't going to be allowed to pack in 70k fans into the stadiums this year. They are going to need to disappoint quite a few season ticket holders this year.
