Am I wrong in saying that?

I mean, I may watch a season game here and there, but I think playoff hockey has the best post season games in sports.

But season hockey is like season NBA: just drab.

So should I reconsider?

Well, with the parity in the league, yeah I think you should reconsider. Let me ask you a question... Have you seen a NHL game live at an arena?

No, I live in Houston. No games around here, and I don't like the Stars.

For me watching the last 5 minutes of a game (NBA) in regular season or playoffs are the same. It doesn't matter, but when it comes to hockey and esp the playoffs the games are so intense from start to finish.

That's just me I guess because I love the game.

I think if you get the chance to watch a game live of a team that you like, you just might get hooked into watching more hockey on tv. It seems to do the trick for quite a few people.

No doubt playoff is better. I went to 11 playoff games this year, it will be ard to adjust to regular season.

If you arent a fan of hockey and aren't hopping on the bandwagon I think it is fine. Playoff hockey has more intensity and a lot more spunk.

Live games are the best...

However TM, this will probably get me in trouble but I do not watch much regular season hockey either...and when it overlaps with college football season I see even less. I watch the Caps games and catch the local feed (Penguins) if I am at the gym running or something but I used to piss off my teamates when I played because I would skip out on watching regular season games with them because there was a good Thursday night or Friday night game on TV.

In fact, I will not be going to the winter classic for the sole reason that it will be when i will be on my bowl trip. AND, the WC this year involves my favorite team playing in the city I am currently living in....

...of course if the Hokies go 7-5 I might be able to do both :)

I am actually pro-bandwagon right now because I want a better TV deal when it comes up. JUMP ON BOARD!!! Ha Ha....

I've been a fan of hockey for a long time, since 94 been a Penguins fan (since there's no team in Houston) with Lemieux, Jagr, Francis Straka, etc., but the strike really messed up everything for me.

I haven't been able to get back into it since.
