I just saw the movie "42" and now I have a question

I recognize the guy playing Leo Durocher as Chrisopher Merloni, who played a cop for years on one of the Law & Order shows, but in that show I remember him having more hair. In "42" as Durocher he is completely bald on top. So is that some kind of a skull cap he is wearing or is he wearing a rug in the Law & Order shows?

That is funny. I just watched the movie last night as well. I was watching it on my computer during the Phillies game. I thought it was a great movie..... How about you?

I think that he probably shaved the top of his head for the movie 42. His hair is way too thin and short to not be noticeable as a toupee on Law & Order. I never once questioned it in Law & Order.

I thought it was a good movie. I was familiar with the story but I still learned some about guys like Durocher and Pee Wee Reese. I think a Durocher biography would probably have some crazy shit in it. I remember seeing him in an old rerun of the Munsters where he was thinking about signing Herman to the Dodgers. I forget how Herman screwed it up. I just remember Durocher saying "I don't know if I should sign him with the Dodgers or send him to Vietnam".

Well I was a bit angered i spent 15$ dollars and two and a half hours on a ticket to a terrible movie. Plus I just hate Robinson.
