I don’t think you know anything about the way Marvin Lewis & Mike Brown operated that team for decades based on this comment. When did they EVER make a quick signing on a big fish in FA?

But carry on with your intelligent insider info.

We tend to sign our own homegrown talent. Resigning Tyler Eifert is just on example of many.

This is a business kid. He goes around and tries to get teams into a bidding war, the Bengals have the right to withdraw an offer. It's part of the dance.

And he has a right to not even look Cincy's way...kinda like Mccoy is doing right now. The point is, in this business, Cincy is at the very bottom of the chain, can't really blame any player for looking for better opportunities than Cincy.

We have much younger talent in place. We would be doing him a favor, not the other way around. I expect a quick turnaround under Coach Taylor, much like the Rams. This season will be one of learning and rebuilding. I expect a slow start and win most of our games that we do win in the later part of the season. Probably a Super Bowl contender next year. McCoy looks to be dancing his way out of a ring, if you want my opinion.

The Bengals have the right to withdraw an offer.
But they won't... because you guaranteed he signs with the Bengals. He's visiting the Panthers now I hear. Did he meet with the Bengals already?

He isn't meeting with the Bengals. There was a team that offered him $11M and he turned them down...probably was the Bengals lol

That is great strategy for dealing with a player that you don't really need. Make him a lowball offer and if he bites, great. If not, no big loss to the Bengals. I wouldn't pay him any more than that.

If the Bengals don't need him why make a stupid guarantee thread. Trolls are going to troll

Honestly though there's not much difference between Cincy and Carolina . Neither are making the playoffs . If anything adding McCoy to one if those teams youd be better off adding him to the Bengals . Carolina doesn't need him

Reports that I've heard say he is most interested in the Ravens and Browns but I think he is an overpriced aging DT that would not be a game changer as our owner thinks he would...
There's a reason the Bucs let him go, he wasn't worth the 13 mil he had coming and obviously wouldn't lower his price to stay....
Probably will be injured before the season is over and miss multiple games....
If we're going young and have confidence in our vets and draft picks, then just roll with that....
But don't say one thing and do another...But then that's Harboobs way !!!!:noidea:

loooks like vegas thinks highly of the bengals. The offshore books do as well. Also Andy Dalton is lumped in with a slew of players at 100-1 for MVP odds. But stunningly guys like:
Lamar Jackson:dhd:
Marcus Mariota:dhd:
foles:nod:
sam darnold:pound:
Jameis winston:rolleyes2:
in the same realm as him

Josh allen
ELI MANNING
DEREK CARR

all in the same realm as him

Gee @mrschaney lets hear your schtick here
