unrestricted FAs. Actually a couple... Using Decker as example...1. Can Denver trade him before deadline? 2. If so, does he have right of refusal? 3. Would it be detrimental for Denver to do so even if it was possible? 4. Or would Denver have to resign him and then possibly use him as trade bait in up-coming draft or after? Have feeling Denver has no options but to resign him or let him test FA and decide if they want to match offer from any other teams.

There are few trade options. They can't trade before the deadline, since he'd still become FA. No one would make that trade as there is no value to be had. The main option would be to franchise tag him, and then try to trade. This strategy is hit or miss, since there would have to be the strong belief amongst potential suitors that Denver intended to keep him. Problem is, if it doesn't work Denver keeps Decker with a pretty expensive price tag. Personally I think we'd be better off offering Clark for trade to a team desperately needing LT help.
