If it was Dez and they were playing this weekend, I would be praying that he did flop

I shouldn't have put Cowboys. I was trying to think of LBs that aren't dirty. Open your eyes and pretend it was Keuchly or Davis from Carolina.
Either or, it would still have been a penalty. Maybe the yellow flag doesn't fly, but the fine would have been levied.

Burfict is one that I wanted us to draft. I felt we needed an enforcer type on our defense. In the upcoming draft I think Ramsey can be that guy. I want Ramsey bad. He would be the best safety this team has had since woodson.

So how do you feel about Burfict now? Would you still want him on your team? Just curious.

Yes, I realized that. I think we all agree Ramsey would be a great pick and one of our top targets as long as the team sees him worthy of the top 5 spot. But,,,after a bad year I'm not sure Jerry can just sit back and let others make the decision. That to me is the wild card in this draft. When it comes time to make a decision does he see the talent we've picked lately or does he see 4 wins...

I agree with Arlington that Ramsey could be best safety since Woodson. I would love to have him. But at # 4 - ????? Safety is a position that this team has neglected for years. I don't see them spending that high of a pick on that. I know he is a CB/ Safety, but has a safety ever been drafted in the top 4 picks.

I'm not into the because it didn't happen yesterday it won't happen today reasoning. That reminds me too much of 'well the last player we took from that School sucked so this guy will suck'...but not sure why such a slam dunk that Ramsay is a safety and not CB anyway:noidea:

most didn't see Dallas drafting oline high b4 the Smith selection.

Ramsey like Jones can play both corner & safety and I think that's a solid pick for Dallas

All positions are important. Not sure how I would rank them of importance but LT is in my top 4 or 5. CB would be really high as well. If he grades out well I'm all for it. The 3 that have been drafted in the top 5 were all excellent players. Now there a few 6-10s that didn't turn out so well. In other words if we spend that high of a pick and plan to use him at Safety - I would hope that he is comparable to those guys.

When they list them as a combo player- they usually become a Safety. There is one at GB that is a rookie that played CB all yr though. I'm not bitching about the pick. It's just real early right now.

Personally I would prefer a player closer to the line of scrimmage with the #4 pick. Now trading back is a different story.....
